Responsibilities

Understand the test pyramid and write test scenarios.
Collaborate with the team to build and continuously improve automated and manual tests.
Test alternate case flows together with the development team.
Support the team in building and continuously improving test cases.
Monitor product stability from a testing perspective.
Identify, report, and propose improvements to tests.
Assist in maintaining integrated test environments.
Understand the importance of security.
Use this knowledge to flag issues to development for decisions that may have security implications.
Ensure tasks are properly sized/estimated according to the backlog.
Contribute to the analysis of team metrics.
Help propose actions to improve performance indicators.
Regularly support company-defined practices and processes, aiming for continuous improvement.
Occasionally facilitate discussions by supporting the leader, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to share their opinions and be heard.
Seek guidance to increase their own experience.
Sometimes coach teammates in an open, respectful, flexible, and empathetic manner.
Possess an understanding of their team's domain and how it contributes to overall business strategy.
Work alongside development, product, and architecture teams, ensuring quality is present from solution conception.
