About the role
- Microsoft 365 Engineer responsible for administration and optimization of Microsoft 365 platform. Ensuring secure collaboration across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive to ensure availability, security, and performance.
- Oversee mailbox provisioning, migrations, hybrid integrations, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Implement and enforce email and collaboration security policies (DLP, anti-spam, anti-phishing, retention).
- Configure, manage, and support Microsoft Intune for enterprise device management.
- Enforce compliance, security baselines, and conditional access policies.
- Troubleshoot enrollment, deployment, and policy-related issues.
- Assist with Windows Autopilot deployment profiles.
- Document processes and support training for IT staff.
- Administer Entra ID and hybrid identity integrations with on-premises systems.
- Develop and maintain governance policies aligned with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 and Azure enterprise environments.
- Basic expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Entra ID, and Windows Autopilot.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
- Solid understanding of IT security, compliance, and governance best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Interest in pursuing relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
