About the role

Responsibilities
- Apply expert knowledge of welding processes to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
- Develop and implement welding processes, including equipment specification
- Define and procure manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and equipment
- Analyze manufacturing methods to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost
- Establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes
- Develop and qualify welding specifications, standards, and guidelines
- Support DFM activities and supplier runoffs
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience, including applied welding engineering experience
- Extensive knowledge of welding processes, including GMAW and resistance spot welding
- Proficiency with CAD software and MS Office tools
- Flexibility to travel up to 25%
