Responsibilities
Apply expert knowledge of welding processes to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
Develop and implement welding processes, including equipment specification
Define and procure manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and equipment
Analyze manufacturing methods to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost
Establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes
Develop and qualify welding specifications, standards, and guidelines
Support DFM activities and supplier runoffs
Requirements
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Minimum 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience, including applied welding engineering experience
Extensive knowledge of welding processes, including GMAW and resistance spot welding
Site SME responsible for cleaning validation and verification activities in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Collaborating with departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing effective cleaning strategies.
