About the role

  • CAD design and development: Create 3D models and 2D drawings of vehicle components using Siemens NX.
  • Support project leads in the design of structural, mechanical, and electrical components for electric powersports vehicles.
  • Maintain revision control and appropriate documentation for all designs.
  • Prototyping and fabrication support: Assist with fabrication, assembly, and integration of prototype vehicle components.
  • Work with manufacturing and suppliers to source parts and materials for rapid prototyping.
  • Use 3D printing, CNC machining, and other fabrication methods to support prototype development.
  • Assist engineers in evaluating fit, function, and assembly feasibility of prototypes.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or certification in mechanical design, drafting, CAD, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools and assembly processes.
  • CAD design and assembly management skills (Siemens NX preferred).
  • Experience with manufacturing methods such as 3D printing, machining, welding, or composite materials.
  • Ability to read and create technical drawings and GD&T specifications.
