- Senior Footwear Designer leading creative product development and brand vision at Group S2. Responsible for mentoring and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align strategies.
Responsibilities
- Define the creative direction of collections: Lead the creation of concepts and themes for each collection, guiding the team to execute in line with the brand's vision.
- Strategic product development: Identify and propose design opportunities that differentiate the brand and meet market demands.
- Product development oversight: Manage the full process of creating and developing collections, ensuring quality, schedule compliance and production feasibility.
- Mentorship and team development: Serve as a mentor to mid-level and junior designers, developing technical and creative skills and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Stakeholder alignment: Work closely with marketing, commercial and production teams to ensure collections align with business strategy and objectives.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in design software: CAD (SolidWorks and Rhinoceros), Adobe Creative Suite, and KeyShot.
- Technical knowledge of footwear development processes and technologies.
- Experience building portfolios and line planning for collections.
- Ability to research and apply trends, materials and technologies.
- Participation in trade shows, events and product/fashion seminars (desirable).
- Footwear design courses (a plus).
- Skill in brainstorming and creative project management methodologies.
- Ensure application of defined designs and technologies throughout development, with a continuous focus on innovation and testing new solutions.
