About the role

  • Manage and optimise promotion reporting systems, including administration, workflows, and troubleshooting
  • Oversee pixel/tag setup, ensuring best practices, education, and troubleshooting for clients and internal teams
  • Analyse and interpret promotional data to generate actionable insights for strategic decision-making
  • Create reports and dashboards using data visualisation tools to communicate performance insights to stakeholders
  • Develop, optimise, and maintain complex PostgreSQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting
  • Provide ad-hoc intelligence and strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Set up, execute, and evaluate client email and SMS marketing campaigns
  • Conduct competitive research to support client promotion planning
  • Act as the ‘Internal Expert’ by documenting and educating on best practices for campaign tracking and reporting
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure thorough information exchange
  • Stay updated on data privacy regulations and best practices, making proactive recommendations

Requirements

  • Experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms and CRM systems
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, particularly PostgreSQL
  • Strong data skills with advanced Excel proficiency
  • Experience with tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager)
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, preferably within a marketing context
  • Relevant certifications in data analysis or related tools are highly advantageous
  • Tech-savvy with a proactive approach to continual improvement
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly organised and capable of multi-tasking to meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
