About the role

  • Craft engaging product descriptions, advertising copy, and recipe content tailored to consumers across the company’s food product portfolio
  • Collaborate closely with Designers, Content Producers, and Marketing Managers as part of the in-house Design Team
  • Maintain and refine distinct brand voice and ensure consistency across platforms and touchpoints
  • Work cross-functionally with product development, graphic design, and digital marketing to produce cohesive marketing campaigns
  • Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines
  • Apply SEO best practices to enhance digital content visibility and consumer engagement
  • Track content performance metrics and use insights to refine messaging strategies
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform content

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of copywriting experience, preferably within consumer packaged goods (CPG) or the food industry
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating product copy, advertising, and recipe content
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, social media platforms, and SEO principles
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Must be available to work on a W2 basis (NO C2C, NO 1099)
  • Located in or near Hunt Valley, MD (Hybrid role)
