About the role
- Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740.
- Manage global tax reporting processes and coordinate with regional tax teams and external advisors.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of income taxes in financial statements and SEC filings.
- Support internal and external audits related to tax accounting matters.
- Analyze tax impacts of business transactions and provide guidance to finance and business units.
- Collaborate with corporate finance, legal, and treasury teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting standards, assessing their impact on the company.
- Drive process improvements and automation in tax reporting and compliance.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure SOX compliance for tax-related processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s in Tax preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in tax accounting, preferably in a multinational corporation or Big Four firm.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 740, and international tax principles.
- High competency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with tax compliance in multiple jurisdictions
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and mentor junior staff
- Hands-on experience with OneStream for financial consolidation and reporting
- Proficiency in OneSource Tax Provision for tax provision and compliance processes.
