About the role
- Coordinate financial reporting and month-end activities across Latin America while adhering to accounting standards. Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate financial information and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate month-end closing activities; review monthly, semiannual, and annual financial reports.
- Review and coordinate the entry of recurring economic transactions such as expense provisions, revenues, costs, etc.
- Review and follow up on local and cross-border intercompany transactions.
- Validate and deliver executive reports such as the Statement of Financial Position and the Income Statement.
- Address internal and external audit requests by providing required information.
- Review account reconciliations and integrations versus accounting.
- Advise various SSC, Corporate, and Latin American country teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting (degree required).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in general accounting within a company.
- Advanced level of English (reports directly to USA)
- ERP (Oracle GL module preferred), Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel and database management skills.
- Experience at a supervisor or coordinator level managing work teams.
