About the role

  • Coordinate financial reporting and month-end activities across Latin America while adhering to accounting standards. Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate financial information and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate month-end closing activities; review monthly, semiannual, and annual financial reports.
  • Review and coordinate the entry of recurring economic transactions such as expense provisions, revenues, costs, etc.
  • Review and follow up on local and cross-border intercompany transactions.
  • Validate and deliver executive reports such as the Statement of Financial Position and the Income Statement.
  • Address internal and external audit requests by providing required information.
  • Review account reconciliations and integrations versus accounting.
  • Advise various SSC, Corporate, and Latin American country teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting (degree required).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in general accounting within a company.
  • Advanced level of English (reports directly to USA)
  • ERP (Oracle GL module preferred), Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel and database management skills.
  • Experience at a supervisor or coordinator level managing work teams.
