About the role

  • Develop, implement, and manage a global compliance program aligned with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards
  • Monitor compliance with GDPR, CCPA, FCPA, anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, trade compliance, and other global standards
  • Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
  • Oversee compliance audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Establish and maintain corporate governance policies and practices, including board governance and regulatory filings
  • Prepare and manage board and committee meetings, agendas, minutes, and resolutions
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance frameworks, including SOX where applicable
  • Develop and deliver global training programs to promote compliance and governance awareness
  • Draft, review, and update corporate policies and procedures and communicate changes across business units
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and the Board on compliance and governance issues
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, HR, IT, and Operations to align governance and compliance efforts
  • Investigate and resolve compliance incidents and prepare periodic compliance reports for senior management and the Board
  • Promote and enforce information security practices, assess security risks, and ensure data protection compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, corporate governance, or legal advisory roles
  • At least 5 years in a leadership capacity
  • Experience in a global or multinational organization, preferably in the technology services industry
  • Strong knowledge of global compliance frameworks and corporate governance best practices
  • Expertise in regulatory requirements including data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA), FCPA, anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, trade compliance, and corporate disclosure obligations
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements where applicable
  • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) certification, or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Experience preparing board materials and managing board/committee meetings
