About the role
- EUDR Compliance Coordinator ensuring Kafea Terra’s compliance with EU Deforestation Regulation. Role involves collaboration across Operations, IT, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end implementation of EUDR requirements across production, logistics, and commercial operations.
- Act as the central coordination point for all EUDR-related activities across departments (Supply Chain, Production, Sales, Legal, IT, Finance, Marketing).
- Organize internal working sessions, follow-up reviews, and status updates to ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Manage the traceability process from green coffee (and other in-scope materials) to finished products, ensuring clear linkage with the corresponding Due Diligence Statements (DDS).
- Oversee collection, validation, and management of geolocation and supplier data to confirm “deforestation-free” and “legally produced” sourcing.
- Work directly with suppliers to ensure understanding and fulfillment of EUDR obligations and data requirements.
- Support the integration of DDS reference numbers into all internal logistics and ERP systems (SAP, WMS, TRACES).
- Collaborate with IT and BPA departments to assess, design, and implement the necessary technological tools and automations (e.g., API integrations between WMS, ERP, TRACES).
- Participate in developing procedures within SAP and WMS for recording and managing batches, production inputs, and product traceability.
- Participate in testing, data validation, and continuous improvement of traceability systems.
- Identify and assess potential compliance risks related to the EUDR, proposing and coordinating corrective or preventive measures.
- Monitor regulatory developments and adapt internal processes to evolving EU requirements.
- Support the BPA Manager and CFO in maintaining compliance documentation for internal and external audits.
- Prepare regular progress reports and compliance dashboards (KPIs, traceability accuracy, supplier readiness).
- Maintain structured documentation for audit purposes and ensure transparency in all EUDR-related communications.
- Support training sessions and awareness programs for employees on EUDR obligations, due diligence steps, and use of relevant systems.
- Collaborate with the Integrated Management System Coordinator to align EUDR compliance with other sustainability and certification standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, Supply Chain. Master's in Sustainability/ESG is a plus.
- Certifications in Compliance, Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2), or Sustainability Systems will be considered an asset.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics operations, compliance, or EU regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (preferably SAP) and data traceability processes.
- Experience in managing compliance or sustainability projects within manufacturing, food & beverage, or consumer goods industries.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel for data processing, validation, and reporting (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, and data visualization).
- Ability to understand and apply EU regulatory and compliance frameworks, particularly in sustainability and traceability contexts.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in both Greek and English.
- Problem-solving mindset and capability to work independently under evolving regulatory conditions.
- Understanding of EUDR compliance tools or SaaS traceability platforms (e.g., Osapiens HUB, Tracex) is a plus.
