About the role

  • Licensed Therapist in a Residential Treatment Center conducting psychosocial assessments and facilitating discharge planning. Offering support and education for patients and their families in a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Psychosocial assessment of new patients; developing an update or detailed reassessment of the patient
  • Maintains contact with family and significant others in the patient’s life when appropriate
  • Provides coordination and acts as liaison with community based social and mental health agencies
  • Facilitates discharge planning and conducts post discharge follow-up to assure linkage of the patient with community resources has occurred reducing re-hospitalization
  • Facilitate groups with patients daily

Requirements

  • Education : Level of knowledge acquired through the completion from an accredited School of Mental Health Counseling, Human Services or Social Work. Must be License eligible in the State of Arkansas.
  • Experience : At least one (1) year of related experience in a Residential, Community and/or Behavioral Health setting is preferred.
  • Schedule : Flexible
