About the role
- Admin Therapy Specialist ensuring patient service at Pediatric Clinic in Pewaukee. Involved in scheduling, patient interaction, and data management for therapy services.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and providing exceptional customer service to the patients who receive therapy services at PHC locations
- Responsible for the accurate scheduling, registering and entering data of patient information into the medical record system
- Supports patient care delivery in the areas of scheduling, insurance verification, and support services
- Ensure patients are fully ready to have successful interactions when they come in for a visit
- Own provider schedule accuracy and, providing options, match patient needs to appointments
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to proficiently use a computer and type
- Experience working in one or more of the following areas: Healthcare Call Center Customer Service Healthcare with medical terminology knowledge
- At least 4 years in customer service in an office and/or banking environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Required: EPIC experience in scheduling, registration and basic insurance knowledge
- Experience in a pediatric setting scheduling for multiple providers preferred
