About the role
- Legal Specialist managing legal and administrative activities for ISA Energia, a leading firm in Brazilian energy transmission. Involves consultation, risk management, and judicial processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform and manage legal and administrative activities as defined by the Board, Management, Strategic Plan and ISA 2030 strategy to defend the company’s interests through:
- (i) Relationship, interaction and servicing of external providers, internal clients and stakeholders;
- (ii) Advisory, analytical and preventive work on labor, social security, civil and administrative legal matters, aiming to identify, mitigate and eliminate risks to protect ISA CTEEP’s interests;
- (iii) Representation in judicial and extrajudicial litigation for special or strategic cases and/or cases with possible impact or repercussion on the company involving labor, social security, civil and administrative matters, defining strategy together with the Board and Management and ensuring its implementation;
- (iv) Management of lawsuits and administrative proceedings under their responsibility (monitoring, deadlines, strategy, reports, supporting materials, research, payments, etc.);
- (v) Management of the legal system with regard to the defined portfolio;
- (vi) Drafting high-, medium- and low-complexity legal drafts and reviewing drafts prepared by Interns, Junior, Pleno and Senior Lawyers, internal clients and external providers (official letters, letters, reports, etc.);
- (vii) Preparation and extraction of management reports, KPIs, BI reports and presentations; and
- (viii) Other legal activities.
