Establish mechanisms for gathering feedback from project teams to identify areas for improvement.
Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams in improvement initiatives.
Work in alignment with senior leadership to build a culture of continuous improvement, optimizing project management processes and improving efficiency and effectiveness.
Prioritize and formulate necessary initiatives that provide the most value to the business.
Analyze project data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Conduct benchmarking against industry standards to identify areas for improvement.
Work with Functional Leads on topics related to project management and organizational efficiency.
Engage and participate in meetings with teams to discuss performance, opportunities, feedback and any mitigation plans required at the initiative level.
Provide guidance, training and coaching to Functional Leads on project performance.
Influence and motivate teams to achieve project success.
Identify skill gaps and dependencies and make recommendations to address them.
Requirements
3-5 years’ experience in project or program management
3-5 years’ experience leading technical and non-technical resources.
Experience assisting project management teams with identification of action items, tasks and activities and tracking progress
Experience at defining, implementing and continually improving standards, processes and procedures utilizing industry best practice (PMI, CMMI, etc.)
Experience developing project budgets based on the development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
