- Junior IT Systems Administrator supporting the IT team at Delta Controls. Responsible for system maintenance and troubleshooting in Surrey, BC.
Responsibilities
- Analyze phishing emails and create cybersecurity awareness campaigns.
- Review and investigate firewall and web filter logs, including managing web filter allow and disallow lists.
- Oversee email security management and perform MDT application updates.
- Manage virus updates, patches, and service packs, including testing, staging deployments, and documentation.
- Assist with basic administration of VMware vCenter, Cisco UCM, and Unity Connection.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, and wireless network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems and respond promptly to system and network security incidents or breaches.
- Build and maintain comprehensive process documentation.
- Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, core services, and enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including routing, switching, and firewalls in an enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, PowerCLI, Bash, and Python.
- Degree or Diploma specializing in Information Technology.
- CCNA or CCNP Certification
