About the role
- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Scrapy sourcing project
- Responsible for data cleaning and data extraction
- Web page or mobile app data sourcing, data development as per requirements
- Ability to deliver data with quality on time
- Day-to-day communications across the team to ensure a smooth delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field
- Familiar with Python
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies is preferred
- Familiar with web sourcing principles, HTTP protocols, and understand common anti-sourcing principles
- Proficiency in requests, Scrapy, BS4, Xpath, regex, etc
- Familiar with data cleansing, and able to use Pandas for data processing
- Understand version control tools (e.g. git) and database management systems (Mysql)
- Proficiency in English is preferred
- Familiarity with mobile app data sourcing is preferred
- Willing to learn and master new skills in a short period
- Can independently solve the problems encountered in development
