Responsible as subject-matter expert in developing sourcing strategies, managing new and existing Category plans for Regional and Global categories to achieve category maturity, targeted savings and specific annual goals.
Responsible for negotiations with identified suppliers for contract completion and key performance requirements.
Lead cross-functional teams to obtain consensus for the strategy applying the approval processes and Manufacturing Leadership/Decision Committee approvals.
Manage preferred supplier relationships, including regular supplier review meetings and resolution of contractual issues.
Integrate the supplier into operational process of Arkema, including Sustainable and Cybersecurity requirements.
Ensure compliance with all purchasing policies and procedures, ethical practices and adherence to relevant laws and regulations and other applicable corporate requirements and procedures.
Accountable for communicating with and involvement of business management on an on-going basis.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in category management and strategic sourcing of Corporate Services Procurement, preferably in the industrial markets.
Advanced experience required in the following areas: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Category Plan Development and Implementation, Project Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Market Analysis and Supply Options, E-Sourcing, Risk Based Qualifications, E-Catalogs and P2P process knowledge, SAP experience preferred, Six Sigma Certification preferred.
