Responsibilities
- Margin accounting focusing on revenue and cost of goods sold
- Ensure deadlines for month-end close and financial reporting requirements are met and accounting activities follow TomTom policies
- Bill Automotive and Enterprise customers
- Ensure correct IFRS accounting
- Analyze and review balance sheet items (mainly open accruals) and P&L results
- Follow-up on discrepancies with finance BU controllers based on analysis
- Support internal and external audit fieldworks and provide proper documentation
- Participate in ad hoc projects to support management and project teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Economics, Finance or equivalent
- 1-3 years of accounting experience in a medium/large organization
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Ability to communicate well with internal and external parties
- Ability to work in a structured way, detail oriented, pro-active, take ownership and hands-on mentality
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with and knowledge of ERP accounting software (SAP preferred)
- Experience working in an international company is beneficial
- Strong team player and self-starter, highly motivated, able to work under pressure during peak periods
- Fluency in English
