- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all financial data
- Develop world-class processes to achieve high-quality closes within tight deadlines
- Enhance analytics capabilities for the finance department
- Ensure Spendesk accounting data fully complies with local and global regulations (tax returns, VAT, income taxes, payroll taxes, etc.)
- Ensure excellent collaboration with other departments to gather required information
- Become a Spendesk platform expert: test new features and support teams in improving the solution
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting
- Organized with strong ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results
- Eager to grow, with curiosity as a core attribute
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly adaptable — comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Experience with an ERP (NetSuite preferred); familiarity with Spendesk is a plus but not required
- Able to work autonomously and take full ownership of your scope
- Analytical mindset with the ability to perform financial analyses
- Fluent in French and English
