About the role

  • Contábil analyst role supporting financial operations in leading educational group with a focus on diversity. Engaging in accounting tasks, audits, and collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting entries, ensuring correct classification and allocation of accounts.
  • Support the monthly and annual accounting close process by reviewing entries and necessary adjustments.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial reports.
  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, explaining period variances.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, supplying documentation and information when requested.
  • Collaborate on internal controls and SOX audit processes.
  • Maintain close, collaborative communication with other company departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (completed).
  • Basic knowledge of Excel.
  • Interest in learning and developing a career in accounting.
  • Good communication, organization, proactivity, and agility.
  • Experience in publicly traded companies, education, or service providers.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Oracle/EBS, and SAP Fiori.
  • Interest in working with internal controls and SOX audits.
