Oversee the installation of telecommunications equipment.
Configure, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and systems, including VoIP, voicemail, IVRs, call routing, and messaging platforms.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to voice and data communications systems, such as network connectivity and hardware malfunctions.
Perform user provisioning and deprovisioning.
Ability to manage and support multi-site and hybrid work environments.
Implement security measures to protect communication data and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Implement new telecommunications and voice system technologies.
Manage and maintain wireless cellular accounts.
Procure and oversee the installation of internet circuits and renewals.
Oversee low voltage cabling contractors.
Document processes and voice system flows.
Escalation point for the IT service desk and end user support.
Train users on how to effectively utilize telecommunication systems and create documentation for reference.
Provide a high level of customer support and communication.
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of progressive work experience in telecommunications and voice administration, preferably in healthcare.
Industry certification are a plus.
Strong working knowledge of a variety of telecommunication technologies and protocols, including VoIP, SIP, networking protocols, cloud-based platforms, and communication software.
Strong working knowledge of Ring Central is a plus.
Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, VLans, QoS, DHCP, DNS and ethernet cabling.
Security minded and an understanding of HIPAA.
Working knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls.
Working knowledge of different internet access types.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex issues quickly.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and prioritize effectively.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
