About the role
- IT Solution Architect for BW Finance at Daimler Buses, focusing on IT solutions for finance and controlling domains. Collaborating across teams to implement projects and ensure solutions operate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Consulting, application and system design of the IT Solutions BW in the Finance and Controlling domains for planning, reporting and self-service
- Leading and implementing projects in the Finance and Controlling area, in particular the strategic integration into truck systems
- Rollout and further development of application systems domestically and internationally
- Ensuring and securing ongoing IT solution operations and support
- Managing external partners
- Adherence to security and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration or a related field and several years of professional experience in IT
- In-depth knowledge of processes and methods in Finance & Controlling
- Detailed knowledge and experience with SAP BW data extraction, interface setup and authorization concepts
- Good knowledge of IT application development (SAP programming and development tools, e.g., ABAP Workbench) is a plus
- High commitment, resilience and mobility (including international assignments)
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility, with strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
