About the role

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the IT Field Services and Help Desk teams
  • Manage a team of technicians providing remote and on-site tier 1 and 2 technical support
  • Ensure high-quality, efficient, and safe support services
  • Manage relationships with external vendors providing services, equipment, or support
  • Frequent travel to DCI U.S. sites
  • Supervise, mentor, and lead IT Field Service Technicians, conduct performance reviews, manage schedules, provide training
  • Oversee workload, develop and implement SOPs for installations, repairs, and troubleshooting
  • Manage ITSM tools and performance dashboards to track KPIs, goals, SLAs
  • Perform lifecycle management and capital planning for end user devices, manage inventory and assets
  • Coordinate network installations, hardware deployments, and on-site projects with other IT departments and stakeholders
  • Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues and provide hands-on support
  • Monitor vendor performance against contracts and SLAs, act as primary vendor contact
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure team certification to operate lifts and specialized equipment

Requirements

  • Candidate must be in one of the following locations within commuting distance of a branch: Chicago, IL; Granite City, IL; Channelview, TX; Tampa, FL
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a technical team
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong commitment to safety with experience in a field services or new site construction-related environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in operational IT support, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • ITIL 4 certification required
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, PMP) are a plus
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required
