Responsibilities
Administration, monitoring and maintenance of networks and server environments (Windows/Linux).
Support and maintenance of Oracle and PostgreSQL database systems as well as the Abacus ERP system.
Analysis and resolution of incidents in IT operations.
Ensuring IT security, including cybersecurity.
Participation in the planning and implementation of IT projects.
Setup, maintenance and management of telephony systems.
Documentation of IT infrastructure and processes, as well as of changes.
General IT tasks (e.g., user administration, client and license management, procurement).
Requirements
Completed vocational training or degree in computer science, IT system administration, or a comparable qualification.
Professional experience in administering server environments and clients (Windows and/or Linux operating systems).
Experience working with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
Knowledge of networks, virtualization (e.g., VMware/Hyper-V) and IT security.
Solid knowledge of license management.
Willingness to work at both locations: Waltershausen and Bad Soden-Salmünster.
