Responsible for the administration and configuration of our IT systems.
Ensuring smooth IT operations.
Administration, configuration and maintenance of our server and network infrastructure (Windows/Linux).
Performing regular maintenance and upkeep tasks.
Analyzing, resolving and preventing incidents as well as performance issues.
Close collaboration with the DATAGROUP-wide Service Desk.
Monitoring and analyzing system performance and initiating appropriate optimization measures.
Implementing effective IT security measures to prevent, mitigate and remediate security-related risks for applications and services.
IT support at the Mainz site.
Requirements
Successfully completed vocational training in the IT field, e.g. as an IT specialist for system integration.
Solid practical experience in administering server systems with a focus on Windows and Linux.
Knowledge and experience in network administration (including switches, firewalls).
Basic to strong experience in the IT security domain.
Practical experience with various IT technologies, e.g. VoIP, virtualization, AV systems and backup solutions.
Good knowledge of LAN, WLAN and VPN.
Analytical thinking and the ability to analyze problems in a structured way, visualize solutions and sustainably resolve incidents.
Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
