About the role
- Industrial Placement Project Management role in the Integrated Sensing and Protection line of business. Students engage in real-world projects and gain hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Experience working on real-world projects from day one.
- Spend a year working on meaningful projects alongside subject matter experts, within multidisciplinary teams, and across the product lifecycle.
- Work in the Integrated Sensing and Protection line of business, based in Southampton/Basildon.
- Experience a range of projects, from technical design to multi-million pound production.
- Put your learning and knowledge into practice with teams and experience in monitoring and control your projects.
Requirements
- Currently studying a relevant degree discipline such as Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other STEM subject degrees.
- Preference for Engineering, other STEM subjects, Business or Project Management.
- Good communicators – both written and verbal.
- Able to use all Microsoft Office applications.
- Analytical problem solvers, with the ability to think laterally.
- Pro-active and results driven with a "can do" attitude.
- Security Clearance subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
