Responsibilities
- Overseeing the in-house and outsourced global indirect tax compliance
- Defining, implementing, and monitoring standards and policies
- Lead research, interpretation of changes in tax laws
- Performing compliance risk and opportunity assessments
- Supporting wider international tax team with high profile tax related projects
- Monitoring compliance with the group’s transfer pricing policy
- Managing enquiries and tax audits
- Business partnering and providing real-time tax support
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Advisor
- Experience in mid/large-tier practice or in-house tax function
- Strong indirect tax knowledge and previous work experience within the Indirect tax arena
- Mixed experience of compliance and advisory
- Strong Excel skills
- Understanding of business models and TP
