About the role
- Import Analyst coordinating with suppliers and managing logistics for quality product imports in Brazil. Monitoring the entire import process from order placement to factory arrival.
Responsibilities
- Contact with suppliers in China
- Request and compare quotes for international products
- Monitor imports from order placement to arrival at the factory
- Prepare shipping marks for boxes according to requirements
- Liaise with Finance for foreign exchange settlement
- Verify import documents (invoice, packing list, HBL) with the customs broker
- Request international freight quotes and verify freight invoices
- Perform fiscal classification of items to be imported and prepare item descriptions for registration in the Import Declaration (DI)
- Register import invoices and issue shipment invoices to customers
- Calculate estimated landed cost and finalize cash settlement
Requirements
- Knowledge of taxes/taxation is a plus
- Degree or currently studying in Foreign Trade (International Trade) or related fields
- Intermediate to advanced English for written communication
