About the role

  • Head of Marketing responsible for driving brand and growth strategy for B2B SaaS. Leading a high-performing team to deliver measurable marketing success through data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Define & Execute Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement the overarching international marketing strategy, with a primary focus on demand generation and pipeline acceleration for our B2B SaaS platform.
  • Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team: Mentor, empower, and grow our existing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and data-driven culture.
  • Drive Demand Generation & Lead Nurturing: Oversee and optimize all aspects of our lead generation funnel, including inbound, outbound, paid media, SEO, and content syndication, to consistently deliver high-quality inbound opportunities for sales.
  • Enhance Brand & Market Presence: Further refine Brainsuite’s brand positioning and messaging. Expand our PR and social media footprint.
  • Strategic Product Marketing Leadership: Collaborate closely with the Product Management team to ensure our go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging are impactful.
  • Data-Driven Performance & Optimization: Evolve and monitor key marketing KPIs, leveraging analytics tools to track campaign effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong, synergistic relationships with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure marketing initiatives are fully aligned with company-wide revenue goals.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Efficiently manage the marketing budget, overseeing external freelancers, agencies, and technology partners to maximize ROI.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B SaaS Marketing Leadership: You bring at least 5 years of marketing experience, with a significant portion in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally within a company of similar size (30-100 employees).
  • Demand Generation Expertise: You possess a deep, strategic understanding of modern B2B demand generation techniques and have successfully built or optimized lead generation funnels, consistently delivering measurable results.
  • Player-Coach Mentality: While a strong leader, you're not afraid to be hands-on, dive into details, and support your team operationally when necessary.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven: You're highly analytical, comfortable with marketing attribution models, and adept at using data to inform decisions, optimize campaigns, and report on ROI. You are fluent in the marketing KPIs that are typical in the SaaS industry.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative & Empathetic Leader: You are a natural leader who inspires, motivates, and develops team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Strategic Thinker with a Growth Mindset: You are forward-thinking, adaptable to market changes, and continuously seek out new strategies and technologies to drive growth. You strive to create exceptional creative work with your team.
  • Commercial Acumen: You understand the sales process and customer journey and view marketing as a direct revenue driver.
  • Experience in using AI-based tools in the generation or optimization of marketing assets.
  • What we consider a plus: Experience in using HubSpot as an essential part of any Go-To-Market activity. Experience in creating content yourself (e.g., copywriting, visual design or video production).
