About the role
- Lead and carry out the day-to-day delivery of FILE’s IT Operations
- Personally manage and oversee infrastructure and digital tools
- Drive governance frameworks, cybersecurity protocols, SharePoint migration, outsourced IT consultants and compliance with data retention and protection standards
- Ensure technology effectively supports staff and streamlines operations
- Work with external parties, grantees, and affected communities to ensure systems are secure, inclusive, and responsive
- Oversee SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 platforms
- Shape FILE’s enterprise system design and ensure platforms are integrated and future-ready
- Monitor network, cloud, and collaboration tools and manage risks
- Develop and enforce IT policies, cybersecurity safeguards, and data protection protocols
- Design and manage technology for partners and communities worldwide ensuring accessibility, equity, and cultural responsiveness
- Anticipate future needs and advise on emerging tools
- Act as primary contact for outsourced IT services and manage vendors
- Oversee onboarding, induction, and digital literacy initiatives
- Maintain intranet resources, guides, and FAQs and seek feedback to improve IT services
- Maintain documentation, conduct risk assessments, and prepare systems for audits

- Deep knowledge of IT Governance, risk and cyber security
- Expertise in enterprise system architecture, integration, and cloud infrastructure
