Responsibilities
Campaign leadership: Cross-team and cross-departmental leadership of holistic campaigns that equally integrate press and marketing measures during development.
Creative development.
Press leadership: Direction of press strategies and external communications in close cooperation with the head of the department.
Budget and resource management: Managing the budget/overview of costs for holistic campaigns in coordination with the department director.
Requirements
Degree or vocational training in communication, media management, cultural management, or comparable practical experience.
Experience in book or publishing environments required.
Experience leading complex projects in media or cultural sectors.
Experience in team leadership.
Experience overseeing press and communications work, as well as experience in marketing and advertising; overarching campaign strategy experience desirable.
Knowledge of budgeting and controlling.
Fluent German and very strong written and verbal expression.
Fluent English, written and spoken; additional foreign languages are an advantage.
