Tendering leader for GSI Services, managing complex bids for North American market. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance with deadlines, customer requests, and contract negotiations.
Responsibilities
Ensure GE tendering policy is understood and applied across the team
Manage primarily complex proposals for North America and other regions from opportunity identification through to purchase order execution
Lead complex bid processes and coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance with deadlines and customer requirements
Work with Purchasing to support and obtain quotes for service estimates
Define market pricing levels, assess opportunity risk, and ensure timely delivery and accuracy of proposals
Negotiate contracts with customers
Support the Sales Team on major projects (80%) and prepare quotes for both small and large projects
Build internal relationships with Business Development Managers and Key Account Managers
Participate in weekly review and pacing calls
Analyze RFQ risk — define scope of solution and identify risks
Collaborate with Project Management on change orders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Proven experience in both commercial and tendering roles within a similar commercial environment
Experience in the high-voltage transmission market preferred
Knowledge of the domestic market is required
Fluent English is mandatory; French would be a plus
