About the role

  • Deeply understand the company's business and its focus metrics; contribute to the formulation of product strategies together with the team;
  • Deeply understand the user and their experience challenges, both inside and outside the product. Actively seek solutions;
  • People development should be one of your favorite areas. Learn, implement, and refine development tools;
  • Know in detail the profiles and competencies of your direct reports. Plan and work together on their personal and professional growth;
  • Establish rituals to analyze metrics and define action plans with the teams;
  • Maintain communication and alignment with leaders of other areas, establishing agreements and facilitating the team's work;
  • Closely track the progress of the team's initiatives, using the roadmap as reference. Remove impediments and negotiate when necessary;
  • Act as an ambassador and reference in product management;
  • Promote a product culture within the company and team, incorporating best practices, talks, frameworks, and methodologies that guide the creation of valuable products;
  • Keep close track of articles, competitors, and benchmarks to enrich discussions and bring new opportunities to drive growth and/or improve customer experience;
  • Propose and facilitate discussions among stakeholders to advance the definition of strategies or key business decisions;
  • Work with the Director on follow-ups and beyond to collaborate on initiatives and keep everyone updated.

Requirements

  • Have been a founder of a startup or among the first employees;
  • Have worked in a startup, regardless of its outcome;
  • Strong experience in product management with a track record of launches and pursuing product-market fit (PMF);
  • Broad experience managing and monitoring value chains, with concrete examples of results achieved at previous companies;
  • Proven experience demonstrating strong leadership and people development skills;
  • Practical experience and sufficient technical knowledge to lead a specialist squad, such as data and payment methods;
  • Excellent problem-oriented analytical skills, with the ability to formulate hypotheses and design logical tests for them;
  • Active listening and the ability to capture customer needs;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to synthesize and simplify to adapt messaging to the situation;
  • Love working in teams, in non-hierarchical environments;
  • Must be available to work hybrid 2x/week in São Paulo
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment;
  • Enjoy collaborating with a team that works seriously but in a light and fun manner;
  • Be highly organized and result/impact-oriented;
  • Always invest in communicating well, using visual resources whenever they help understanding — make the complex simple;
  • Have strong synthesis skills and logical thinking;
  • Be looking for a challenge to build a success case;
  • Enjoy understanding technically how solutions work.
