About the role

  • Client Relationship Management: Be the primary point of contact for German-speaking B2B clients, ensuring smooth onboarding, product adoption, and continued success with our software solutions.
  • Customer Success and Retention: Monitor the health of customer accounts and proactively address any issues to ensure high satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs, provide updates on new product features, and recommend strategies to optimize their use of the software.
  • Sales and Upselling: Utilize your sales expertise to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, offering additional products or services that can benefit the client’s business.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to execute targeted upselling campaigns and close deals with existing customers.
  • Cold Calling & Prospecting: Use cold calling and other outreach methods to introduce our solutions to potential new clients.
  • Problem Solving & Technical Support: Work closely with internal technical support teams to troubleshoot and resolve any client issues.
  • Provide proactive recommendations to optimize product performance and workflows.
  • Reporting & Feedback: Track and report on account status, customer feedback, and key metrics such as retention rates and upsell success.

Requirements

  • Language Proficiency: Native or fluent German speaker is essential, with strong English language skills for internal communication.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in B2B sales, account management, or customer success.
  • Proven track record in cold calling, upselling, and managing customer relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in achieving sales quotas and revenue growth targets through upselling and cross-selling activities.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to tailor the sales approach to individual client needs.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Passionate about delivering excellent customer service, with a deep understanding of client needs and a proactive mindset.
  • Tech-Savvy: Strong interest in the software industry, with the ability to quickly learn new products and explain technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Experience with CRM systems, data analysis tools, and other software solutions is highly desirable.
  • Problem Solving & Adaptability: Highly resourceful and solutions-oriented, able to tackle issues with a strategic and analytical approach.
