About the role

  • Serve as the lead financial strategist for assigned clients
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making
  • Assist client’s Leadership Team with developing and monitoring short-term initiatives and long-term strategic plans
  • Advise on capital structure, financing options, and long-term financial planning
  • Build financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning
  • Ensure financial statements accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP or applicable frameworks
  • Present financial results, including financial analytics, and provide actionable financial insights to client leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles (e.g., CFO, Controller, Financial Analyst)
  • Experience in a fractional or consulting CFO role preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Familiarity with Mississippi business regulations and financial landscape
