About the role

  • Build Tableau dashboards and analytical reports to deliver key commercial insights
  • Establish and improve commercial insight, business intelligence, performance reporting and decision making across the business
  • Translate and visualise raw data into analysis used to drive commercial insight and improved business performance
  • Identify and source correct data for understanding business performance
  • Provide decision support and analytical challenge in day-to-day trading decision making
  • Define and help determine qualitative and quantitative KPIs to measure performance
  • Turn business requirements into data-driven solutions that have immediate impact on trading performance
  • Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth organisation to support commercial decisions

Requirements

  • Advanced Tableau skills and experience using Tableau as an advanced reporting and analytical tool
  • Business analyst experience
  • Good understanding of data analytical programming languages (SQL, R)
  • Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to translate and visualise raw data into informed analysis to drive commercial insight and improved business performance
  • Ability to identify and source correct data necessary for understanding business performance
  • Good practical knowledge of data manipulation for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs and flowcharts
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to join the dots of the organisation
  • Ability to spot and clearly articulate identified trends and their impact on business performance
  • Provide decision support, analytical firepower and positive challenge in day-to-day trading decision making
