About the role

  • Serve as a senior technology consultant supporting commercial financial services clients and strategic pursuits.
  • Shape and deliver technology strategies that align with the evolving needs of banking, insurance, asset management, and fintech organizations.
  • Engage in client conversations on business issues and various technology solutions with financial services clients.
  • Lead technical solutioning for financial services pursuits, including RFP responses, solution architecture, and client stakeholder engagement.
  • Design and articulate end-to-end technology solutions supporting enterprise goals across retail banking, capital markets, insurance, and wealth management.
  • Collaborate across the Guidehouse enterprise to integrate multidisciplinary expertise, capabilities, and innovations.
  • Align proposed solutions with industry trends such as fraud prevention, legacy system modernization, cloud adoption, and integration of AI, data analytics, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop solution components, cost estimates, and implementation plans.
  • Support mobilizing delivery teams post-award, ensuring continuity and clarity of vision, and deliver technology projects with high client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with financial services stakeholders to refine requirements and validate technology solution approaches.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant technology consulting experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in technology consulting and solution architecture with financial services clients.
  • Strong relationships with financial services technology stakeholders and a reputation for trusted delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience with data flows across financial ecosystems, including integration with third-party providers and regulatory bodies.
  • Proven ability to lead technical solutioning in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience in ROM/LOE estimation, pricing, and proposal-to-win (p2w) activities.
  • Experience in shaping new business opportunities and technology programs.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk mitigation capabilities.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field.
  • Based in or near a major financial hub (e.g., New York, Charlotte, Chicago, Washington, DC) for on-site engagement with clients.
