Responsibilities
- Manage the entire month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements.
- Be the point person for all tax-related matters, working with external advisors to ensure obligations are met.
- Coordinate and manage both internal and external audits, serving as the main point of contact for auditors.
- Oversee all aspects of equity management, including stock option plans and shareholder reporting.
- Mentor and manage a team of three finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA) is essential.
- Proven track record in a senior financial accounting role, ideally within the tech industry.
- Experience leading a team and a passion for mentoring others.
- Self-starter with a broad range of experience across financial reporting, tax, treasury and audit.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with Netsuite is an asset but not essential.
