About the role

  • Lead statutory accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial governance for one or more legal entities\n• Deliver timely and accurate statutory financial statements under local GAAP and IFRS, ensuring audit readiness\n• Manage the month-end close process including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and local P&L and balance sheet integrity\n• Lead the external audit process and respond to audit queries with full documentation and reconciliations\n• Act as the local finance contact for Group Tax and Treasury, supporting filings, local cash management, and FX coordination\n• Serve as main local contact for company secretarial matters, government bodies, auditors, and regulators\n• Maintain strong internal controls, approvals, and audit trails for accounting activities\n• Coordinate with Chief Accountant, FP&A, Group Reporting, and Shared Services to ensure accurate consolidation inputs

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or local equivalent)\n• 4–6 years of experience in statutory accounting and financial control\n• Familiar with IFRS, local GAAP, and statutory audit cycles\n• Experience managing local tax filings, regulatory correspondence, and treasury coordination\n• Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with external bodies\n• Attention to detail, resilience, collaborative mindset
