About the role
- Actively shape and implement the global divisional strategy in close collaboration with executive management, specialist departments and international sales subsidiaries
- Coordinate and execute divisional planning, including forecasting, budgeting and multi-year planning
- Prepare and analyze reports, forecasts and budgets to derive operational and strategic recommendations
- Lead and contribute to division-wide and cross-division projects to optimize processes and further develop the organization
- Establish and enhance management control instruments to drive efficiency, growth and profitability
- Serve as a business partner to management – act as a sparring partner on financial matters, assess opportunities and risks, and provide decision support
- Play an active role in change management – support the transformation to data-driven management processes
Requirements
- Degree in business administration with a focus on controlling/finance or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in an international industrial company in divisional or corporate controlling
- Confident use of ERP systems, strong Excel skills and very good German and English language skills
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong affinity for numbers, paired with a deep understanding of business and financial contexts
- Structured, solution-oriented and independent working style combined with a high standard of quality
- Strong optimizer mindset with enthusiasm for actively driving change
- Team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills, able to present complex topics clearly and build trust across departments
