About the role
- Financial Accountant in the global leader of Network as a Service, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Collaborate with teams for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Working with the team to complete the month end, quarter end and year end procedures in a timely manner from transaction posting through to management reporting
- Managing and maintaining financial records, including general ledger accounts and financial statements
- Reviewing financial documents and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Performing financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
- Preparing and reviewing annual/quarterly budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
- Partner with stakeholders to track and communicate the status of current and upcoming capital projects
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures in the company
- Prepare supporting schedules to half-year and full-year financial statements and reporting
- Perform general ledger reconciliations evidencing sound financial control of relevant entities.
- Develop commercial understanding to assist with providing financial partnership with the business and provide insightful analysis to management
- Contribute to annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification (or currently studying toward one)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of financial management in a technology-driven environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
