About the role

  • Manage financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international financial standards.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, processing payments and reconciling transactions.
  • Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with relevant tax authorities in Pakistan: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), UK: HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), UAE: Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
  • Handle tax filings, VAT returns, and other regulatory submissions for Pakistan, the UK, and the UAE.
  • Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
  • Conduct financial audits and implement internal controls to mitigate risks.
  • Work closely with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking institutions.
  • Assist in payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of salaries.
  • Stay updated with financial laws, regulations, and best practices in the relevant jurisdictions.
  • Perform any other finance-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CFA preferred).
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in financial management or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance for Pakistan, the UK, and the UAE.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
  • Experience with payroll processing and liaising with tax authorities.
