Responsibilities
Closing the books at month end.
Helping to produce and analyse the monthly Management Flash Accounts.
Coordinating information from across finance and the business for the monthly Board Report and Management Report.
Preparing bank reconciliations.
Reconciling and analysing balance sheet accounts.
Processing transactions in NetSuite.
Dealing with auditor queries and maintaining audit files.
Preparing financial information for business unit queries.
Assisting in regulatory reporting to the FCA for two small subsidiaries.
Managing treasury and banking administration.
Reporting on processes and controls.
Looking for ways to continuously improve processes.
Requirements
A team player with an open, honest and can-do attitude.
Strong Excel skills which include lookups and pivot tables.
Can prioritise and deliver results to strict deadlines.
Excellent problem solving and investigation skills.
Proficient skills in Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience in a finance team – with an understanding of month end processes and reporting.
Specific experience in tasks such as posting journals, accruals, prepayments and bank reconciliation.
Knowledge or experience working with the finance system NetSuite.
