About the role

  • Support the Finance team during a period of system change and ongoing operational activity
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions across purchase and sales ledgers
  • Supporting month-end activities
  • Assisting with basic system testing as part of our finance transformation programme
  • Reconcile supplier and customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts payable/receivable role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles, including accruals and prepayments
  • Comfortable following structured testing scripts or procedures
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Proficiency with finance systems and Excel
  • Experience working in a finance function during a system change or ERP implementation
  • Familiarity with purchase and sales ledger processes in a medium to large organization
