About the role
- Work with a focus on operational results, SLA compliance, and continuous improvement of network performance.
- Manage third-party companies responsible for operating TIM's outside plant fiber optic network and lead in-house and outsourced field teams deployed in the field.
- Monitor operational indicators (KPIs), perform critical data analysis, and take action on deviations.
- Develop and follow improvement plans (resilience, revitalization, reinvestment) to reduce failures and recurrence in the network.
- Ensure execution of corrective, preventive, and acceptance maintenance activities, aligned with the technical standards defined by TIM.
- Lead operational and technical meetings with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Represent TIM on technical, regulatory, contractual, and operational matters with external partners.
- Control the application of the operational budget allocated to fiber optic network maintenance, ensuring its efficient use.
- Interact with internal teams to enable rapid fault resolution, always focusing on quality and the end-customer experience.
- Monitor compliance with operational processes and ensure standardization of field practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Telecommunications, or related fields.
- Solid experience in operational areas at large telecommunications operators.
- Experience in operation and maintenance processes for outside plant fiber optic networks.
- Management of operational indicators and critical performance analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret technical reports and dashboards.
- Microsoft Office.
- Power BI.
- English proficiency preferred.
- Experience in high operational-complexity environments within the telecommunications sector, with a focus on fiber optics.
