About the role
- Expert in corporate accounting and financial reporting responsible for monthly closings. Engaging with cross-functional teams and developing financial reporting in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly closings
- Central point of contact for questions on risk provisioning
- Provide advisory support to management on accounting issues (particularly accounting for risk provisions)
- Drive the further development of financial reporting
- Responsible for the SAP application used for risk provisioning
- Ensure cross-departmental alignment with agile teams
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, economics or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience preferred
- Solid accounting experience (HGB / IFRS)
- Good to very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), financial record-keeping systems and SAP (in particular SAP FI)
- Independent and structured way of working
- Strong analytical skills and process orientation
- Project management experience and team orientation
