About the role

  • Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of physical events for the European and US market, approximately 2 per month
  • Communicate with all customer types throughout the event life cycle: delegates, speakers, and sponsors
  • Work extensively with conference hotel, including but not limited to costs, setup, catering, Wi-Fi etc.
  • Manage Hanson Wade staff flights and accommodation
  • Represent the campaign and Hanson Wade on-site (international travel is required)
  • Create and proof event documentation
  • Creating running order for each event
  • Sourcing, negotiating, and managing external suppliers when applicable including but not limited to: AV, Technology, Signage, Hostesses
  • Budget management
  • Create, implement, and deliver mobile apps for the larger campaigns
  • Work closely with campaign project team to deliver on key goals and objectives of the campaign
  • Support other members of the function as and when necessary

Requirements

  • Ability to prioritise responsibilities and have an organised approach to workloads
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with high work volumes and multiple deadlines
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Able to provide unique customer service to customers of varying levels of seniority
  • Must have a strong passion for event management
  • Ability to travel to the USA and Europe (please check your individual visa requirements)
  • A higher education degree or similar (Event Management degree preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • Previous event management experience is preferred
  • Previous experience with event software is preferred
  • Cannot provide sponsorship for this role (applicants must have right to work/ability to travel internationally)
