About the role
- Events Coordinator managing logistics for high-impact events at J Street. Supporting event planning, execution, and collaboration with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of large-scale national events including liaising with venues and vendors
- Provide day-of event support including staffing, troubleshooting, and attendee services
- Serve as the key logistics contact for J Street’s student programming
- Assist in managing multi-departmental event planning processes from start to finish
- Develop and maintain detailed work plans and timelines
- Build and manage event registration forms using Eventbrite and help maintain accurate event data in Salesforce
- Track and manage event data metrics, including registration data, housing, speaker databases, travel and budget spreadsheets
- Assist in improving systems for collecting and analyzing events-related data
- Track event attendance, gather feedback, and support post-event evaluations
- Provide general administrative and logistical support to the Events team and other teams across the organization
Requirements
- Experience (paid or volunteer) in event planning and/or project coordination
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities efficiently
- Strong data skills and an interest in data organization and systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relational and able to work with many different types of people
