About the role
- Engineer/Geologist managing projects in geotechnics and environmental studies in Drummondville and Victoriaville. Collaborating with a dynamic team on varied projects for public and private clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as project manager/discipline lead for geotechnical and environmental projects.
- Collaborate with professionals involved in geotechnical and environmental studies.
- Prepare service proposals.
- Plan and oversee fieldwork: drilling, sampling, installation of monitoring wells and piezometers, in-situ testing, etc.
- Prepare study and technical reports, including supervision of laboratory testing.
- Conduct environmental site assessments (Phase I, II, and III).
- Manage environmental monitoring assignments during remediation works.
- Provide technical support to team members.
- Perform all other tasks related to the position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geological engineering, geology, or other relevant training.
- Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) or the OGQ (Ordre des géologues du Québec).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations (RPRT, RVMR, and the MELCCFP Intervention Guide).
- Interest in fieldwork and versatility across assignments.
- ASP construction card.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
