About the role

  • Serve as project manager/discipline lead for geotechnical and environmental projects.
  • Collaborate with professionals involved in geotechnical and environmental studies.
  • Prepare service proposals.
  • Plan and oversee fieldwork: drilling, sampling, installation of monitoring wells and piezometers, in-situ testing, etc.
  • Prepare study and technical reports, including supervision of laboratory testing.
  • Conduct environmental site assessments (Phase I, II, and III).
  • Manage environmental monitoring assignments during remediation works.
  • Provide technical support to team members.
  • Perform all other tasks related to the position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geological engineering, geology, or other relevant training.
  • Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) or the OGQ (Ordre des géologues du Québec).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations (RPRT, RVMR, and the MELCCFP Intervention Guide).
  • Interest in fieldwork and versatility across assignments.
  • ASP construction card.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Team player, autonomy, and dynamism.
